Tina became interested in funeral services in her high school years and moved to Toronto in 1990 to enroll into the funeral service program at Humber College. Tina became a Licensed Funeral Director in 1993, graduating with an award of excellence in embalming. While living in Toronto, she also gained much experience working part time for the University of Toronto (anatomy department) and MacKinnon & Bowes transfer and embalming service. She left the Morse and Son Funeral Home, Niagara Falls in 2008 to work along side Jim Pedlar and purchasd the James L. Pedlar Funeral Home. Tina is very dedicated to her profession and honoured to serve the families in Fonthill and the surrounding area with care and compassion. Aside from the funeral home, Tina and her husband Fred enjoy hikes with their four rescue dogs. As a member of Therapy Tails Niagara, Tina is able to take her dogs to local nursing homes and schools for those who have special needs. She is a proud member of the Fonthill Lions Club, Welland Chamber of Commerce, the Pelham Business Association, the Niagara District Funeral Service Association and the Ontario Funeral Service Association.

Hannah became interested in Funeral Services during her High School years at E. L. Crossley and completed a high school CO-OP in 2016. Since then, Hannah has completed her first year of the Funeral Services Class 1 program at Humber College and is with us completing her Internship. Her caring and personable nature allows her to guide families through this difficult time while making each and every funeral unique and memorial. Hannah and her family reside locally in North Pelham. She has been with Girl Guides of Canada over 13 years, and is a leader at the Thorold Guide meetings.
We are very fortunate to have Hannah as part of our working family.

Bill has worked with James L. Pedlar Funeral Home for over 15 years as a funeral director’s assistant. He retired from the Niagara Regional Police Force in 1997. Prior to that Bill was with the Pelham Police Department for 7 years. He is a very active member of the “Fabulous” Fenwick Lions Club for over fifty years and also acts as “Fenwick Flossy“ on Ground Hog Day and various parades. Bill and his wife Sharon have lived in Fenwick for over 50 years where they have raised their family. Bill is also a member of Fenwick United Church and Sparrow Lakes Golf Club.
|Paul Furtney, Funeral Assistant|
Paul works with us as a funeral director’s assistant. There are not too many people he greets during visitations that he does not already know. He and his wife Bonnie have lived in the Pelham area all their lives. Paul is an active member of the Pelham Community Church in Ridgeville, where he sings in the church choir, in both quartets and as a soloist. Paul retired from Rich Products in Fort Erie in 2007. His enjoyment for greeting people and love for gardening can be seen, as there is always a friendly caring face at the door and our grounds immaculately kept.
